Every year people raise money for Kids Aid Tanzania using a variety of means. Some hold fundraising events such
as meals, concerts or jumble sales. Some undertake sponsored activities such as running marathons, climbing Kilimanjaro
or having their head shaved. Some get their church or club to make Kids Aid Tanzania their chosen
charity for the year. Some ask for donations to Kids Aid Tanzania in place of wedding or birthday presents.
Whatever is done, we are only too happy to provide photographs, video, sponsorship forms or Gift Aid envelopes
for the event. When donations by taxpayers are Gift Aided, Kids Aid Tanzania can recover the tax paid
on the donation from the government and increase the amount raised by 25p for every £1 given. It costs fundraisers
and donors absolutely nothing.
In addition, we encourage those undertaking sponsored acivities
to consider having their own fundraising page on Just Giving so that those sponsoring them can make on-line donations. Creating a page is easy, costs nothing and limits the
work of collecting money after the event.
